In the fall of 2018, I was interviewed by Scott Haskin for Haskincast while I was playing drums for the First National tour of “ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. I had just come out of playing a show in Philadelphia at the Academy of Music. Scott and I had a really fun conversation and we touched all sorts of great topics. We discuss what touring is really like with the musical theater shows and how each tour can be its own little universe. Even though each show can be unique, at the end of the day, we have to create music together and play as consistently as possible. We even discussed how different a theater tour is from how a Circus tour is. Check out this entertaining conversation we had about music, drumming, life on the road, and different concepts!
